The C8 put the engine behind the driver for the first time in Corvette history, and it changed everything about how it handles. The Z51 package upgrades the brakes, suspension, and differential. It feels like a proper mid-engine sports car because it is one.
The C8 runs similar 0-60 times to European exotics that cost two or three times as much. Same mid-engine layout. More usable day to day. It's a legitimately fast car that doesn't need a European badge to prove it.
